32nd Annual Labor Day Sports Tournament Invitational at Windy City Fieldhouse on Saturday, September 2nd, 2017

Registration is now live for the 32nd annual Labor Day Sports Tournament.

Paper Registration: http://tinyurl.com/ldst2017-paper

There are a few important changes this year:
-We renamed most of the basketball division for 2017! In addition, we are providing guidance, recommendations, and more insight into each division. You can find this on page 2 of the paper registration form and on our online registration form after you choose your sport. Hopefully this helps teams out better vs our previously vague descriptions of divisions.
-Two new divisions this year: “Veterans Division” for Basketball and “Open Division” for volleyball.
1) Veterans Division Basketball – Most of the players in this division will be around 24-30 years or older looking to play in a semi-competitive environment for fellowship purposes. Their knees have failed and arthritis is kicking in, but their weekend warrior mentally is still in them. This is a great fit for teams who have been playing in the tournament for over many years but are looking to settle down a bit and play amongst their age group.
2) Open Division Volleyball – New division for 2017! Players in this division will have extensive volleyball experience and play regularly in competitive open gyms. The majority of their experience may have come from organized high school teams, groups, club or competitive intramural college teams. Majority of the teams will be college or post college with a few high school players in the mix.
-Based on feedback, we will not be having a designated award ceremony time. You will receive your trophy right after your final game.
-Captains meeting via a conference call was a huge success. We will do it again this year.
