Lincoln Theatre – Labor Day Wknd Music Festival at The Lincoln Theatre on Friday, September 1st, 2017

Hey Friends,

Flo Anito Music here! I’m super excited to be playing the The Lincoln Theatre on Friday Sept. 1st as part of the Labor Day Weekend Music Festival! This will be my first time playing the Lincoln and I’ll be playing a set of mostly jazz standards, joined by a fantastic group of musicians – Seth Kibel, Russell Rodgers, Harry Appelman, and Wes Crawford – so I really hope you can come out for a listen!

We’ll be sharing the stage with Margot MacDonald and Laura Tsaggaris so it’s an all female fronted night, which I think is pretty awesome as well.

Much thanks to the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities for sponsoring this event and making it FREE to the public! Doors open at 6:30 but tickets are first come, first served so you’ll probably want to line up early to get a good seat! While you can RSVP to the event, it doesn’t actually guarantee you a seat so please keep that in mind and give yourself plenty of time to find parking/metro/line up. The show starts at 7 and we’re on first so don’t be late!!!

In case you haven’t been to the Lincoln before, it is metro accessible (right across from the U Street/African American Civil War Memorial/Cardozo station) and there are some lots and street parking nearby as well.

Thanks for reading this far and hope to see you Friday!!!

Ciao,
Flo
